Description
The standard 150 × 280 cm cloak in the Pixel pattern, covering the legs down to 140 cm. The Oxford outer sheds rain, so it works as a wet-weather layer as well as concealment. This is concealment, not invisibility. It hides body heat and lowers the thermal contrast between the wearer and the background; how well it works depends on ambient temperature, exposure time and the sensor used. Modern thermal sights switch between several modes and can lay a night-vision picture over the thermal one, where trees and stones show as well — so the first job is to blur the human silhouette into the landscape. The loose cut keeps the fabric off the body, which is what lets the cloak do that. How to get the most out of it: • Avoid long direct contact with heat sources — the body, equipment, engines. An air gap between the cloak and what it covers makes the concealment work better and last longer. • Give it time: brought from a warm place into the cold, the outer layer has to settle to the outside temperature first. • Break the silhouette: avoid draping it into rectangles and straight lines. • Never cover an open flame, even with a wide gap. • Fix it only through the factory eyelets; do not cut extra holes or stretch it over sharp stakes and branches. • Keep acids, alkalis and solvents away from it, and never machine-wash it. • It is not a bag or a stretcher: do not carry loads in it. What it does well: • Keeps the rain off. • Eyelets at the corners let you stretch it as an overhead or vertical screen. • Tear-resistant, unlike plain foil that splits along the seams. • Folds small for carrying. • Several can be joined along the edges into one shelter. The trade-off: the fabric rustles a little when it rubs. Made for sentries and observers, and as a screen over a resting place or a temporary position. Wear it over the helmet and plate carrier, not under them.
Fabric layers
01 · Printed camo shell
Oxford face fabric in four patterns with a water-repellent finish.
02 · Metallised barrier
Reflects radiated body heat inward, reducing the signature read from above.
03 · Insulating spacer
Air gap that slows heat transfer to the outer shell.

Care and limits
- Hand wash in cold water only. Machine washing and tumble drying destroy the coating.
- Keep away from acids, alkalis and solvents.
- Fix only through the factory eyelets. Do not cut additional holes.
- Let the outer layer reach ambient temperature before use after coming from a warm space.
- Do not use as a stretcher or a load bag.
- Never cover open flame.
