What the fabric does, and what it does not

Every claim on this site is limited to what the manufacturer's test documentation supports. Concealment textiles reduce contrast; they do not make a person disappear, and no fabric does.

Contrast against ambient — illustrative sketch

Uncovered

Body heat reads far above ground temperature.

Under a 4-layer poncho

Contrast drops toward ambient. Not a test image.

The layers

LAYER 01

Printed camo shell

Ripstop face fabric in four patterns with a water-repellent finish.

Reflects radiated body heat inward, reducing the signature read from above.

Aluminised film, bonded

LAYER 03

Insulating spacer

Air gap that slows heat transfer to the outer shell.

Questions we get asked

Does this make me invisible to thermal imaging?

No. It reduces the contrast between you and the background. Detection depends on ambient temperature, exposure time, sensor resolution and how long you stay still.

How long does the effect last?

The barrier layer works for as long as it stays intact. Heat builds up underneath, so long static use reduces the difference — vent when you can.

Will I pay anything on delivery?

No. Import VAT, the customs levy and the broker fee are inside the price. The courier collects nothing.

Can I order for a unit or a foundation?

Yes. Ten items and up are quoted directly, with an invoice suitable for procurement and a single consolidated customs declaration.
