Fitted covers for Starlink terminals, Adaptis and Avenger antennas — cut to lower the thermal and visual signature without covering the aperture.
A working Starlink terminal warms up, and a flat warm panel against cold ground is one of the first things a drone’s thermal camera picks out. A FOX Armor cover puts our multi-layer anti-thermal fabric, with no foil in it, over that warm patch and breaks up the terminal’s recognisable outline. It does not get in the way of the link: the covers have been checked on working terminals, and the cooled models were tested in summer heat and filmed through an AGM Sidewinder TM50-640 thermal imager.
The covers are shaped, each sewn for its own housing, so check your terminal’s generation before you order. For a non-standard antenna we make a cover to order.
A terminal heats up under a cover, and if that heat has nowhere to go, the cover itself starts to show. For long sessions there are reinforced four-layer covers with a convection channel along the housing: air passes between the cover and the terminal and carries the heat away. The self-cooling cover does the same passively, with no power and no maintenance. The winter reinforced cover with a cooling channel is made for work in frost.
Every cover has a window cut for the antenna. Never cover it with anything: blocking it degrades the link. The cover itself does not block the signal.
Hand wash in cold water only: machine washing and tumble drying destroy the metallised layer. No acids, alkalis or solvents. Dry in the air, never next to a fire or a heater, and store dry.
Many covers have a wholesale price from a set quantity of one model, usually 10 pieces and 5 for the cover with netting. The product page shows it, and colours can be mixed. For larger orders, use the Request a quote form.
The covers are sewn in our workshop in Mykolaiv and ship from Ukraine with Ukrposhta or Nova Post Global. Import VAT, the customs levy and the broker fee are already in the price, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. Goods made in Ukraine enter the EU at 0% duty under the EU–Ukraine agreement, and an origin declaration goes with every invoice. The product page shows the delivery estimate and price for your country; standard delivery is free over €250. Pay by card at checkout, or by bank transfer on invoice for a foundation or an organisation. You can withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason: if a cover simply did not suit, you pay the return postage; if it is faulty, we pay both ways.
No. Each cover has a window cut for the antenna, and the fabric does not block the signal; this was checked on working terminals. Never cover the window with anything.
Gen 2 is the rectangular second-generation terminal, Gen 3 the standard third-generation kit, Mini the compact terminal. The winter cover fits Gen 2, Gen 3 and Gen 4, while the cover with camouflage netting and the cooled covers fit every current model.
A terminal heats up under a cover, and in time the cover itself starts to show. A convection channel carries the heat away, so the reinforced models can stay on longer without a break.
Yes. Send the model or the dimensions through the Request a quote form, and the workshop will sew a cover for your housing.
By hand in cold water, with no acids or solvents, then dry it in the air. Machine washing destroys the metallised layer.
